LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL
It was so great to see the San Miguel Primary students on campus this week. Thanks so much to those that were able to take the time out of your day to make this happen for your child. In case you didn’t get the news, we are moving to the Hybrid model on Monday March 29th. I’m so excited. I’m also happy to announce that we’ll be hosting another Return to Recess over the next couple weeks. See below for more details. Enjoy your three day weekend!

UPCOMING STUDENT MATERIALS PICK UP DAYS
We are having our normally scheduled pick up day on March 3rd, but instead of the next one being two weeks later, it will be on 3/10. This is to help our teachers prepare for moving to the Hybrid model. On the 10th your child will receive a packet that will be used from 3/10-3/19
RETURN TO RECESS
During the next two weeks (starting this Monday) we’ll be hosting another round of recesses. This time the groupings will be by cohort and we’ll have two different grade levels arriving and departing at different times. Distant Learning students can pick the time on the day of their grade level.
It will look like this:
3/1 6th grade cohort A, arriving 12:30, leaving 1:00
3/1 5th grade cohort A, arriving 12:40, leaving 1:10
3/2 6th grade cohort B, arriving 12:30, leaving 1:00
3/2 5th grade cohort B, arriving 12:40, leaving 1:10
3/4 4th grade cohort A, arriving 12:30, leaving 1:00
3/4 4th grade cohort B, arriving 12:40, leaving 1:10
3/5 3rd grade cohort A, arriving 12:30, leaving 1:00

ANOTHER MAKE UP PICTURE DAY
We are having a make up picture day this Saturday at our office in Sebastopol.. If you are interested in coming please e-mail us at email@example.com. You do need to schedule a time to come to this make up day. It will be a drive by picture day just like we had at your school but located at our studio in Sebastopol. Let us know if you are interested in coming.
A NOTE FROM COACH BRE
This week’s challenge is a 1 MINUTE BURPEE CHALLENGE. I will pick 2 winners at random as usual, but I will also reward whomever can do the most amount of burpees in one minute. Would be a great ‘brain break’ to do with your class during zoom. https://youtu.be/HKiFnlT14cM
