WALK AND ROLL TO SCHOOL DAY
Bike (Walk and Roll) to School Day is Wednesday, May 8! Prizes available for kids who ride their bikes, skateboards, scooters, walk, or use any other form of active transportation on their way to school that day, either from home or from a drop off location a few blocks away. For those who’d like to ride or roll to school with a group, a neighborhood Bike Bus will be meeting in the parking lot of the Cove Church (5146 Old Redwood Hwy). Meet us there at 8 a.m. Parents can drop kids off with their bikes or other wheels. We’ll be traveling through the neighborhood on El Mercado Pkwy and you can also join us along the way. Would you like to help? We need 1-2 adult volunteers to hand out prizes at the front of the school and 1-2 volunteers to help ride or roll with the Bike Bus. Please email or text Sarah at sar.phelps@gmail.com or 707-833-2136. Click here for the flyer.
